Furnished
An Event Benefiting Furnish for Good

HOPE, DIGNITY, AND POSSIBILITY IN CHARLOTTE
Furnished is Furnish for Good’s signature annual event, raising critical funds that sustain our operations and power our mission year-round.
Thanks to the enduring support of the design community, the generosity of donors honoring the legacy of Traci Zeller, and the commitment of our community partners, Furnished continues to grow in both participation and impact. Over the past two years alone, the event has seen remarkable momentum—raising $280,000 in 2024 and $330,500 in 2025—and expanding our ability to reach new supporters while deepening relationships with longtime champions of our work.
This growth reflects more than financial success; it represents a community coming together to ensure individuals and families experiencing crisis can begin again in a place that feels like home.
In 2025, we were especially honored to present our inaugural Founder’s Award to Priscilla Chapman, Lesley Faulkner, and Mary Beth Hollett, whose vision and leadership laid the foundation for Furnish for Good. Their commitment continues to guide our growth and long-term sustainability.
For the first time, we also welcomed an FFG participant to the stage. Triassa, a single mother of four, courageously shared her story and the life-changing impact of moving into a fully furnished home—an experience made possible by the collective generosity of our community, including the continued leadership of Gray Construction, our Presenting Sponsor for the second year in a row.
“Serving on the Furnish for Good board has been incredibly rewarding,” shared Justin Storey of Gray Construction. “At Gray Construction, we build structures—but with Furnish for Good, we’re helping build lives. From sponsoring Furnished to volunteering in the warehouse, our team sees firsthand how our time and resources directly impact families in crisis. That sense of purpose goes far beyond our day-to-day work.”
Furnished is more than an event. It is a celebration of gratitude, partnership, and the transformational power of a community committed to dignity, stability, and hope.
