Hope, Dignity, and Possibility in Charlotte

Furnished is a friendly interior design competition and online auction benefiting Furnish for Good. Five Charlotte interior designers are competing to see who can design the best vignette. Designers are given two days to install and create their design. On October 10th photos of each design will be released on the Furnished website. Supporters can vote for their favorite design by making a donation on the designer’s profile. Every $20 donation equals one vote. In addition to their design, designers donate the furnishings and decorative items from their vignette for a fantastic online auction.

ABOUT FURNISH FOR GOOD

Founded in 2019, Furnish for Good serves individuals and families transitioning out of homelessness, poverty, and other dire circumstances through the effective reuse of quality furniture and household donations. We move beyond simply handing out donated items – we transform lives through a process of empowerment providing hope, dignity, and a renewed sense of possibility for every person and child we serve.
Since opening our doors, we have provided over 80,000 furnishings and household items to over 1,800 people.
Funds raised in Charlotte, North Carolina stay in Charlotte, North Carolina. Furnish for Good is a true local, grass roots nonprofit organization.
The average cost of serving one person is $1,500.
Led by a premier Board of Directors made up of community and business leaders from Charlotte.
